The Last Toothless Grin

I took 303 photos tonight in about 15 minutes trying to get my last photo of Ashley's toothless grin. I saw this morning that her first tooth is just starting to peek through her bottom gums. Although I'm looking forward to her being able to eat more food with more teeth, I sure do love my little toothless baby!!!
The photo isn't the clearest, but just looking at it make me smile!

Our Family

Hello, I'm Tara and welcome to our family's blog!
This is my beautiful family, my husband Kevin, and our daughters Katelynn, Kristen (represented in the tattoo) and Baby Ashley!
We started this blog during the summer of 2008 to chronicle and share the daily adventures of our expanding family as we anticipated our 2nd daughter, Kristen's birth, on August 29th, 2008. However, Kristen was born with a genetic disorder called Trisomy 18 or Edwards Syndrome. She stayed with us for 64 short hours but will be part of our family forever. This blog was intended to share our daily adventures as a family and it will continue to do so, especially now that we have another family member to blog about! Not all the posts are "happy" ones as life isn't always happy but that doesn't mean it's not still something to share.
Kristen is still part of our family and will continue to be the topic of some blog posts! If you've found our blog because of your own loss of a baby, I am so very sorry. I hope you're able to find some comfort in my older (and possibly newer) postings and know you're not alone.
